The Maverick Minute Foundation was created after a heartbreaking farm accident took the lives of 4-year-old Maverick Flinn and his great-grandmother, Nancy Fox. Their family is now turning that tragedy into a national movement with a simple but powerful reminder for farm families everywhere:

Before starting equipment, moving machinery, backing up, or heading into the next task, take a Maverick Minute. Take a breath. Check your surroundings. Look for kids, family members, co-workers, blind spots, and anything that could put someone at risk.
