Before you lock in your 2027 fertilizer plans, take a look at what your soil tests are telling you! Our own Danny Greene was recently featured in Indiana Prairie Farmer, sharing his insight on when growers may be able to cut back on phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) without hurting yield potential.
The takeaway? You might not need to apply as much fertilizer as you think! If your soil already has enough P and K to support your crop, there may be an opportunity to cut back on applications and save some money. But the only way to know is to test!
